Celebrating 250 Years of the Navy

2025 marks the 250^th Birthday of the U.S. Navy and they are celebrating with yearlong commemorative events and community engagements.  Come join SignaTours as we celebrate the birth of the world’s most powerful Navy by attending the U.S. Navy Band’s Birthday Concert at the beautiful DAR Constitution Hall in downtown Washington D.C. Hosted by the chief of naval operations, the concert highlights the diversity of the Navy, its various missions around the globe and it rich history and heritage. The show features multiple ensembles from the band and includes a variety of musical styles that range from patriotic tunes and Broadway hits to movie soundtracks and sea chanteys. A great afternoon of entertainment!

The day will start at the United States Navy Memorial and Visitor Center for a guided highlights tour.   Through engaging exhibits and interactive displays, the Memorial tells the story of the American Sailor - past, present, and future - and honors, recognizes, and celebrates these brave men and women.  See an informative video about the Navy in the impressive Burke Theatre and don’t forget to leave time for the gift shop!   Mid-day lunch is included at Carmine’s in the heart of D.C.
