Sensational Shenandoah Sojourn

Fall is a special time of year in Virginia where the air is cooler and when the colors of fall foliage are breathtaking. It’s the perfect time to head west for the annual kaleidoscope of color and mountain scenery.  This unique tour takes us first to Front Royal, nestled in the Northern Shenandoah Valley where the Blue Ridge Mountains meet the Shenandoah River. Discover the rich mountain history aboard a Guided Trolley Tour.  A tasty luncheon in Luray at the Mimslyn Inn is prepared especially for us! The warmth and charm of this historic property has been welcoming guests since 1931. It is listed as a Historic Hotel of America by the National Trust for History Preservation. Choose from Tenderloin Beef Tips or Baked Tilapia with sautéed shrimp – delicious!   This afternoon travel across Shenandoah National Park to Sperryville for a tasting at a local distillery and a visit to the Ole Country Store & Bakery in Culpeper where you are sure to find a special treat to bring home!
