Don’t miss this fantastic show that has just come off Broadway! The moving, uplifting, inspirational Come From Away takes place the week following the September 11 attacks and tells the true story of what transpired when 38 planes were ordered to land unexpectedly in the small town of Gander in the province of Newfoundland, Canada. The same actors change from playing Gander residents to playing passengers on the airplane – fascinating to watch!  The musical has been received by audiences and critics as a cathartic reminder of the capacity for human kindness in even the darkest of times and the triumph of humanity over hate. This matinee production will be held at the iconic Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts – always a wonderful atmosphere for a Broadway production.  A delicious lunch is planned at The Filomena Ristorante prior to this heartwarming performance.
