Crooked Road Tour
Last week, my wife and I enjoyed a superb experience – a tour of Southwest Virginia’s “Crooked Road”. The tour was sponsored by the Shepherd Center and arranged by Sharon of SignaTours. From the time of our early morning departure to our late evening return four days later, everything went like clockwork. Our group had an outstanding tour leader in Dr. Jack Welsh of the Shepherd Center. Nonetheless, it was evident to Dr. Welsh and to us that Sharon’s in-depth research and close coordination were the essential elements in making our tour the success that it was. We travel a great deal and have had many formidable tours. However, we have never had one better than Signa’s “Crooked Road”. Our accommodations were perfect; our motorcoach driver was excellent; and our sometimes early morning and late evening lectures and music presentations were exceptional. Please pass on our thanks and appreciation to Sharon for her outstanding effort. We hope that we soon will have an opportunity to go on another of her great tours.

Crooked Road Tour
This note is directed to whoever with SignaTours planned the details for the Crooked Road Music Trail trip in August. My husband and I want to express our appreciation for the organization and attention to detail to help make the trip such an enjoyable one! The places of interest with each stop were well designed and gave us such an all inclusive fun for the people and the communities. Jack Welsh, our host escort, was excellent and attended to the important details with clarity and enthusiasm. Crooked Road Tour
I am writing to tell you what a great time my husband and I had on the “Crooked Road Tour”. Jack Welsh was a fantastic tour director. I know he was substituting but he was wonderful! We felt that the trip was well planned, well thought out and lots of fun. We had time to move around, time to sit and listen and unbelievably good entertainment. I think everyone on the tour was amazed at the beauty and history of the region. I certainly learned a lot about Virginia that I had never heard before. Thanks again for planning such a great tour.

Hi me and my brother Jason took a day trip with Signatours on March 7 2015 to the Maryland Live Casino we just wanted to say it was a great trip. The bus was very nice and the trip was nice as well with the activities that we’re going on. The trip cordanator Laura Davenport was a nice person did good with the trip planning and the bus driver John was a good driver me and Jason are looking forward to another trip to the casino or a different place with Signatours.

Holiday Spectacular in New York City
Thanks to Sharon and Linda for a wonderful trip to New York City just before Christmas. It was so much fun and just what the doctor ordered to help me recover from a semester of study. I loved the hotel we stayed at and had a great view of Times Square from my room. It was in such a convenient location too! You all do such a great job with your tours and I’m so glad I decided to hop in and treat myself to this one. I came home refreshed and ready to tackle Christmas. Happy New Year!

The trip was fantastic! It was so enjoyable, and the members raved about every part of it. The White House was crowded and a little rushed, but it was still very nice to see everything! I am writing to share my experience with SignaTours. On Friday December 5th, I traveled with SignaTours and its Tour Director Linda to Selma, North Carolina for a Christmas concert which was in a word, outstanding! The moment I boarded the beautiful, comfortable and clean Motorcoach, I was met by Linda – She is a fine representative of your company. She was gracious and fun in managing the 41 people on the trip. Linda showed everyone early on how our day with her would be spent in Selma. The entire event progressed exactly as she had presented it to us in the morning and on the same timetable. The driver of our coach was also quite pleasant and very polite in addition to his excellent driving skills. I think I can speak for all of the passengers including myself that Linda is an amazing part of your team. I would love to travel with her again.

Smithsonian Tour
“I’m following up about our tour to the Smithsonian. I had the most marvelous time!!! And, I’ve received a lot of feedback from others that they did too!
Our driver, Ray, was courteous, professional and pleasant. The ride up and back was relaxing and comfortable. SignaTours must know that he is the perfect representative of their company and they should be proud of him.
The Natural History Museum was interesting and several went back after lunch to enjoy more of it. Of course, my main reason for going was the National Gallery. The sit down, plated lunch we were served at the National Gallery was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and they were fully staffed with servers. We were treated as special guests – ‘we were treated good!’ We had some free time for about 30 minutes or so. Some people went to the gift shop, some walked around to see the art.
Our private tour with David Gariff was exceptional. He took us on a trip through early Italian Renaissance and then through Baroque Dutch paintings. He was incredible!! I hope that he is given feedback on how everyone loved him and the way he presented the stories of the paintings. His love of art and his incredible knowledge certainly show through!
After some more free time to browse the museum, we all met up with Carri and got on the bus.
Of course, saving the best for last, I have to say how wonderful Carri was! She handled everything beautifully, making sure everyone knew what was going on and when. She was sensitive to member’s needs, even getting a wheelchair for one member who was having trouble walking. She’s so efficient, patient and kind to everyone.
This was my first SignaTour with LLI and I’m already looking forward to another one!
One member told me, a few days later, this was: “Hands down the best tour I’ve been on!”
