We travel first to Savannah and check into our hotel in the heart of the Historic District of Savannah. We will be feted with a wonderful dinner at the River House, a converted cotton warehouse. The next morning we will be treated to a guided tour of Savannah including a visit to Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Time for shopping will be included. In the afternoon, we will visit the Mercer-Williams House, setting of the book and movie, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. We bid adieu to Savannah and set out for Charleston by way of Beaufort, South Carolina where we will enjoy a Narrated Horse-Drawn Carriage Tour.  After lunch on your own in Beaufort, we set off for the Charleston Tea Plantation, home of the only tea grown in America. Check in at our hotel in Charleston is followed by our dinner at California Dreaming, a waterfront restaurant overlooking the Ashley River.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a Guided Tour of Historic Charleston! We will also tour The Citadel, one of the six senior military colleges in the US. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to shop and eat in the City Market. Dinner tonight will be aboard a Harbor Dinner Cruise giving guests an opportunity to see Charleston from the water.

As we depart these lovely ladies of the South, we will stop by the Magnolia Plantation and Gardens, home to the oldest public gardens in America. This is an opportunity to tour a plantation home and gardens. Then all aboard the motorcoach for a scenic drive home.
